Even though there's only one confirmed case - the district says that employee works in austinville elementary school's office.

They said she could have potentially exposed more than 12 others - including the school's principal decatur city school's deputy superintendent dwight satterfield told us the staff member learned of her positive test results over the weekend the 12 other staff members are currently in quarantine as the district works finish its contact tracing.

But because so many people are out - the district said the best option for today is to teach students virtually.
