FNF Scouting Report: New Albany
The New Albany Bulldogs are trying to bounce back after a 1-2 start.

I'm tanya carter.

Friday night fever will return tomorrow night and our game of the week is amory against new albany.

Wtva's matt st.

Jean visited with the bulldogs today as they try to bounce back from a one and two start to the season.

The new albany bulldogs enter our game of the week with a 1 and 2 record.

A record they say does not give them the respect they believe they deserve but if they're going to get that respect, they're going to need to elevate their play to get a win over the amory panthers.

(adam conlee) its not where we want to be at this point in the season we all had high expectations going into this year.

(track) senior lineman adam conlee said it's been a rough start the bulldogs blew a 20 point lead in the opener against pontotoc, then beat booneville.

Last week they played a solid three quarters before running out of gas against 6a hernando.

The game against amory is the last game before division.

(jackson formsma) we just have to play better and make sure we have all the fundamentals down that way we can go into division best we can be.

(track) for third year coach cody stubblefield, he said division games matter the most in terms of getting to the playoffs, but the bulldogs need some momentum.

(stubblefield) i've told our guys it's a must win we've got to go into that bye week with a little more confidence i think being 1-2 nobody is happy there.

(track) and the weight of the game is not lost on the players.

(isaiah cohran) just light the fire and keep going during division and hopefully make the state.

(as live tag) one and two new albany against an undefeated amory team should be an awesome game tomorrow night.

We'll have coverage from amory starting at 5 o'clock and then coverage from games all over northeast mississippi but for now reporting in new albany, matt st.
